This is a new sprout (variation) on the Reading Dragons tree carefully tended and nurtured by Sarah Dempster of the Concord Free Public Library.

Here are several collections of picture books and chapter books featuring Dragons.

Reward kids with a Waldo card for finding something you've hidden at the library.

Our library created a color by number activity sheet based on the child dragon design.

We are heading into summer and summer reading. The Reading Dragons is collaborating with the iRead Summer Reading Program and the magical artist Carey Pietsch to bring a special bite size edition of the Reading Dragons to you!

These cards have uncolored line art that kids can decorate to make a unique set of cards just for them.

One of our favorite activities is running a coloring contest where kids can design the next card we make for the Reading Dragons.
