Erin Coppersmith of the Kohler Public library has shared some lovely new creatures with us. " Mishipeshu is an Ojibwe legend from the Great Lakes. It's also known as the "Underwater Panther". It controls the water and storms. A carbuncle is a magical creature from South America. It lives deep inside mines and the gem on its forehead turns colors, reflecting the treasure its defending.
