Tournament
Running a tournament, where participants can play against each other and earn prize cards, can be a great way to make the program more interactive and social. Whether you choose to have scheduled a monthly chill get together or plan a party or large event for the Reading Dragons, a tournament can be a fun way to facilitate interaction.

New Line Art: Axolotl, Mishipeshu, Carbuncle, & Phoenix from Kohler Public Library
Erin Coppersmith of the Kohler Public library has shared some lovely new creatures with us. " Mishipeshu is an Ojibwe legend from the Great Lakes. It's also known as the "Underwater Panther". It controls the water and storms. A carbuncle is a magical creature from South America. It lives deep inside mines and the gem on its forehead turns colors, reflecting the treasure its defending. I know Axolotl's aren't magical creatures, but the kids here are obsessed with them." ~Er
