CYO: Color Your Own Cards Activity

Updated: Apr 25

These cards have uncolored line art that kids can decorate to make a unique set of cards just for them.

Picture of cards to color with crayons.

Choose which cards you want to use for your activity and print them on cardstock and cut them out. We usually group card sets with a paper clip or bag to make it easy for participants to grab them and go. You can use this as a passive activity that kids do while they are at the library, a take home craft, or as part of a larger program, like a Reading Dragons Tournament or a Reading Dragons Party.

This is a great alternative to the coloring contest if you do not have a staff member who can recreate participants art on cards to be shared with everyone.
